Written by Ben Brockert, ISSS VP. Meeting was in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union at 7:45PM.

We met at Winter Club Fest, as previously discussed. There we talked to people, got some e-mail addresses, and displayed our big rocket in semi-finished form in public for the first time ever. Present was Allen, Amelia, Tabrina, Didum, and me. Absent was Sarvesh and Paul.

I updated our entry on the SEDS wiki. It currently has the most up-to-date information on ISSS. It's at http://wiki.seds.org/index.php/ISSS

Didum is continuing to work on our website, and we hope to see an update soon. If you have photos up somewhere of ISSS events, you should send a link to him.

Dr. Paul S Hardersen will be speaking at our general meeting on April 20th. He will, in his words, "discuss our department, the astronomy capability that we are developing here, and possible collaborative efforts."

Dr. Charles Kerton will speak at one of our meetings about Fick observatory. I sent him the dates today, I expect him to pick one tomorrow.

We discussed non-astronomy presentations. Suggestions were AerE 462 projects, AerE professors, aerospace companies, NASA, and AAAA. People will follow up on those. The remaining open dates are: Feb 2 6:00 PM; Feb 16 6:30 PM; Mar 2 6:30 PM; Mar 23 7:00 PM; Apr 6 8:30 PM. One of those will be Dr. Kerton's.

Tabrina will be choosing a date for this semester's rocket launch at the cross country field, as well as a date for the rocket launch/star party to be held at her parents' house.

Allen will be working with Paul to set a date for an exec meeting specifically to discuss the budget for next year. It's due in the near future, so that will happen soon.

The meeting was then closed, because it was hard to talk and we were discouraging people from being able to get to our display.

After the meeting some other things were brought up. Allen and I discussed a design competition for the paint scheme of the big rocket, as well as a design competition for a new rocket project.

A member of the flying club offered to donate some chemicals to our cause. He also has a house in the country but close to town that would be suitable for engine testing and stargazing.

Amelia is dissing our current display, so she gets to think of a new one.
