Announcements:
Jolesch Photography now has us on their mailing list. We need to get 10-20 people to roll or cut pictures. The pay is $7.50/hr /person. The hours are Weeknights 5-9 and Saturdays 8-12 and 1-5. We’d receive roughly $300 if we could get 10 people to do it.
Old Business:
November 8th meeting:
Natasha is in charge of making signs for announcing the meeting and the details
Location will most likely be in the Physics Hall
Natasha is in charge of working things out with the speaker Dr. Lavrey
Will be the deadline for dues and t-shirt orders
Food will be cookies and Kool-Aid. Dave will bring the Kool-aide

Mission Statement: "To encourage interest in space and space activities through education, social, and outreach activities." (This will be changed later)

New Business:
Natasha will send out an e-mail with all the information concerning the ISGC conference and following dinner
E-council Representation:
David contacted the e-council representative. His name is Gabe and he can be contacted at gweigelt@iastate or 515-292-5915. Here’s what needs to be done.
We need to know the percentage of our members that are in the college of engineering
What we have done or plan to do that is related to engineering. Examples:
Model Rocket building competition
VEISHEA’s Cy’s Big Top – this includes comet decorations, mini-telescope decorations, and alkaselzer rockets
Schedule speakers that will talk about spacecraft and ISS design.
Go to the Iowa State Space Grant Consortium and put on a dinner for representatives afterwards.
Talk with the voting delegates about admittance into e-council. Their next meeting is November 9th @ 7:00 in room 114 Marston.
