11/14/2005 ISSS Exec Minutes

We had an exec meeting last night at 6:00 in the Howe basement, here is what we discussed:

SpaceVision2005: Only one car ended up going on the trip, but it was really fun and informative. We decided to make the ISSS a SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) chapter at ISU. There is only a small $25 annual fee and this way we'll get benefits like discounts on the conferences and maybe even some new paying members. Next year the conference will either be in Florida or Arizona by then we should be able to get an ISU van.

ISDC The International Space Development Conference will be next May 4-7 in Los Angeles. We're not sure if we're going to be able to make it yet because of that whole finals thing, but we'll see as the time gets closer.

Next General Meeting: We decided to have a general meeting the Tuesday after Thanksgiving break. We'll talk about SpaceVision2005.

Dec 6 Our last meeting of the semester will be on December 6th. We'll watch a movie (still to be determined) and vote for next year's exec board.

The meeting was short (for me at least, yay Chemistry), so that's all that we discussed. The next exec meeting is the Monday after Thanksgiving. See you then!
