[21:03] Todd R: i say we stick with this cause thats the plan
[21:03] Stephanie J: oh wow, that sucks
[21:03] Ryan M: she was on earlier, which is the strange thing
[21:03] Josh Nelson: and we are still missing several people
[21:03] Todd R: if she cant get in again well go to spacealumni
[21:03] Stephanie J: has anyone tried spacealumni/

[21:11] Emily H: thats all ive got
[21:13] Emily H: ok, so you need a password for the second one, i dont

[21:13] Todd R: are you still waiting on chapter descriptions also?
[21:14] Megha Sharma: Emily will be sending u the ones I have today
[21:14] Megha Sharma: so what u need from us is our pix and bios?
[21:15] Emily: yes

[21:15] Emily: i sent an email about chapter bios, they are due same time as

[21:16] Megha Sharma: awesome
[21:16] *** suprfantastcjess has left the chat.
[21:16] Megha Sharma: Board. please send ur pix and bios....I am sure u have
enough from the conf
[21:17] Todd R: yep, and we're taking a chapter pic this friday
[21:17] Megha Sharma: but we need individual pix of each exec member, rite
emily?
[21:17] Megha Sharma: I think its a good idea anyway
[21:17] Emily H: hmm, whoevers compiling contact info, could you send me
everyone's email to put with the bios? unless someone doesnt want
that info in the newsletter
[21:17] Emily H: yes
[21:18] Megha Sharma: sure...I'll do that
[21:18] Emily H: thanx
[21:18] Todd R: yeah im compiling that stuff too
[21:18] Megha Sharma: is there any suggestions from the board as to what else
can go in the newsletter?
[21:18] Megha Sharma: anyone?
[21:19] *** Mark Schaffer has joined the chat.
[21:19] Stephanie J: what do we have for the newsletter besides chapter
summaries and exec bios at this point?
[21:19] Stephanie J: although i imagine those will take up a good deal of space
already
[21:19] Liz Bozek: we could advertise the university that will be hosting the
'06 conference a bit
[21:20] Stephanie J: oh yes, definitely
[21:20] Josh Nelson: Hey Mark
[21:20] Liz Bozek: famous graduates, interesting facts...etc.
[21:20] Matt C: could put in plans for special projects
[21:21] Todd R: yeah we should put in all of josh's stuff abou the various
projects
[21:21] Emily H: conference summaries, seds history, peter diamandis bio, exec
and chapter bios
[21:21] Megha Sharma: yea....we will really really impress a lot on Space
Vision 2005---thats the prime goal
[21:21] Emily H: josh, if you want project stuff in the newsletter, send me the
writeup you want in there by the 19th
[21:22] Emily H: if we vote on the new conference before dec1 that announcement
is going in there too
[21:22] Stephanie J: we should be voting on that as soon as possible right?
[21:22] Matt C: when where and how are we voting?
[21:23] Megha Sharma: yea we vote on next Wednesday
[21:23] Josh Nelson: k
[21:23] Todd R: yeah about voting...
[21:23] Emily H: i have to leave now, but im gonna leave aim on so it records
the meeting for me
[21:23] Todd R: who is going to post stuff on that, i know we already have
the proposals uploaded but we need to facilitate the voting
[21:24] Megha Sharma: awesome...thanks Emily...Liz, Matt, any ideas for
newsletter..please send thru seds-exec.org
[21:24] Megha Sharma: well, since Todd is from the host school
[21:24] Josh Nelson: Vote is usually done just in the meeting,
everyone say proposal 1 or 2
[21:25] Megha Sharma: I will facilitate the voting
[21:25] Megha Sharma: yea
[21:25] Todd R: oh it is just exec board voting?
[21:25] Megha Sharma: No COC
[21:25] Josh Nelson: CoC
[21:25] Josh Nelson: ah you beat me to it
[21:25] Todd R: ohh ok gotcha
[21:26] Megha Sharma: yea COC votes on the proposal
[21:26] Megha Sharma: of any exec member is also a chapter rep, they vote
[21:26] Todd R: so will it be over email or during the CoC meeting next
week
[21:26] Megha Sharma: we will hold a coc this coming Tuesday or Thursday
[21:27] Megha Sharma: Liz which of the two work better for u?
[21:27] Liz Bozek: it doesnt matter if it is Tues. or Thurs.
[21:27] Liz Bozek: i only have class wednesday night
[21:27] Megha Sharma: ok then lets keep thursdays
[21:27] Josh Nelson: afk
[21:27] Megha Sharma: since that has been the set time this sem
[21:28] Stephanie J: so thursday tomorrow?
[21:28] Megha Sharma: Thursadays..8pm EST
[21:28] Megha Sharma: no the coming Thursday, 24th
[21:28] John E: Thanksgiving?
[21:28] Megha Sharma: oh yea....
[21:29] Josh Nelson: yeah
[21:29] Josh Nelson: lol
[21:29] Megha Sharma: that cud be trouble, a lil
[21:30] Stephanie J: yeah, thats why i asked
[21:30] Todd R: for voting i think we should just do it over emails to
chapter-affairs@seds.org and have them due next wed
[21:30] Megha Sharma: not that big of a deal....we can always do the vote
thru email
[21:30] FoxyBiter: hmm... thats always kind of dangerous though isn't it?
[21:30] Todd R: post it on seds.org tonight, and send tuff out to chapters
tonight
[21:30] Megha Sharma: yea
[21:30] Stephanie J: but if you work it lik finances was worked...
[21:30] Stephanie J: keep updating who's done it and shame those who haven't,
haha
[21:30] Megha Sharma: sure....
[21:30] Todd R: yeah
[21:31] Megha Sharma: John beat the hell outta everyone...thats the spirit,
lol
[21:31] Megha Sharma: any more questions on voting?
[21:31] Megha Sharma: concerns?
[21:31] Todd R: so megha you will post it on ses.org tonight?
[21:31] Todd R: or soon
[21:32] Megha Sharma: yea
[21:32] Megha Sharma: and proposals are already on http://wiki.seds.org/index.php/Main_Page
[21:32] Todd R: ok cool
[21:32] Todd R: yeah
[21:32] Megha Sharma: moving on....
[21:33] Megha Sharma: is this meeting time ok for everyone?
[21:33] Matt C: good for me
[21:33] Todd R: yep, just fine
[21:33] Megha Sharma: is yea, please keep this slot free from work or class
next sems too
[21:33] John E: sure
[21:33] Jenni: Yes, for me
[21:33] Liz Bozek: yes
[21:33] Ryan M: yes
[21:34] Megha Sharma: so many "yes's" look aesthetic
[21:34] Todd R: i cant guarantee next semested, but I'll definetly try
[21:34] Megha Sharma: I am going in random order...just out of current
priority...so Josh move on
[21:36] Jess S: isn't he afk?
[21:36] Megha Sharma: no idea
[21:36] Megha Sharma: John u wanna go ahed with ur update as to whether we've
recieved all the money pledged for the conf?
[21:37] Megha Sharma: I mean watever is the current status
[21:37] John E: we received money from Wolfram and Rolls-Royce
[21:37] John E: but we're still waiting on Lockheed
[21:38] John E: that's all so far this week
[21:38] Megha Sharma: bills have started coming in?
[21:38] Mark Schaffer: (Paul cashed the Wolfram and Rolls-Royce checks
today.)
[21:38] John E: not yet
[21:39] John E: we have a few weeks for some of them
[21:39] Megha Sharma: ok...we'll see watever arises
[21:39] *** Josh Nelson has left the chat.
[21:40] Megha Sharma: are u done John?
[21:40] *** Josh Nelson has joined the chat.
[21:40] John E: yes, sorry
[21:40] Megha Sharma: ok
[21:40] Josh Nelson: sorry bout that
[21:41] Josh Nelson: had to move from building to building, lost
connection half way inbetween
[21:41] Megha Sharma: Josh..u wanna go next
[21:41] Megha Sharma: yea u are next
[21:41] Josh Nelson: Sure!
[21:41] Josh Nelson: Allright all, first is there anyone who did
NOT get the National Projects e-mail I sent out yesturday?
[21:42] Josh Nelson: 3
[21:42] Josh Nelson: 2
[21:42] Josh Nelson: 1
[21:42] Josh Nelson: ok
[21:42] Josh Nelson: so I guess from the lack of response everyone
got it
[21:42] Josh Nelson: For those of you who got it and didnt read it
[21:42] Stephanie J: haha, you guess correctly
[21:43] Josh Nelson: We discussed at Space Vision hosting 3
National projects
[21:43] Josh Nelson: Zero-G flight in April
[21:43] Josh Nelson: High Altitude balloon flight
[21:43] Josh Nelson: and Satellite launch
[21:43] Josh Nelson: The dealines for submitting proposals for the
Zero-G flight will be February 1st, and a decision on which chapters
will get to fly will be made by February 8th
[21:44] Josh Nelson: Chapters will need to fundraise about 1,000
per person
[21:44] Josh Nelson: which is easily doable
[21:44] Josh Nelson: More info is in the e-mail I sent out
[21:45] Megha Sharma: ok cool
[21:45] Josh Nelson: The Weather Balloon launches will be done on a
regional basis, deadline pending
[21:45] Josh Nelson: and Satellite proposals will be due by....
March 1st
[21:45] Josh Nelson: with final design due by October 1st
[21:46] Josh Nelson: with the exact launch date TBD after I talk to
Bob and co.
[21:46] Josh Nelson: Are there any general questions from the board
about the National Projects at this point?
[21:46] Josh Nelson: We have established preliminary methods of
communication, the Projects listserv is up, as well as the forums
[21:47] Josh Nelson: Any questions about the projects at this
point? I will give it 30 seconds for someone to say they have
question, if not, back to Megha
[21:47] Megha Sharma: Josh..post something on the forums...just to start the
discussion
[21:47] Mark Schaffer: What happened to going after one of the NASA
Centennial Challenges?
[21:48] Josh Nelson: At the actual National Projects meeting it was
never brought up to my memory, some people had mentioned before and
after hte meeting perhaps doing them
[21:48] Josh Nelson: but honostly, if we cant do smaller things
like zero g or satellite launches,
[21:49] Josh Nelson: we dont have a rats ass at the challenges
[21:49] Josh Nelson: of course the projects proposed right now are
preliminary
[21:49] Josh Nelson: and subject to change if the demand is there
[21:49] Josh Nelson: these are just what the chapters that actually
put int he effort to show up to the National Projects meeting thought
were worthwhile
[21:49] Josh Nelson: Anything else?
[21:49] Megha Sharma: ok
[21:49] Jess S: uhm, I've got a question
[21:50] Josh Nelson: go ahead Jess
[21:50] Josh Nelson: Could you first identify yourself?
[21:51] Megha Sharma: Josh funding is something we will need to stress upon.
[21:51] Megha Sharma: sorry
[21:51] Megha Sharma: jess go ahead
[21:52] Jess S: Jess Senning, former secretary. well, during the
brainstorming session on Sunday to develop the presentation to AAS,
it seemed like a lot of people were interested in the Centennial
Challenges.
[21:52] Jess S: It also seemed like a lot of people thought that we
were more likely to get funding from the industry if we did the
Challenges. Don't we want more people to get involved, and more money
to do cool stuff with?
[21:52] Jess S: sorry, it wouldn't let me send it all in one chunk/
[21:52] Josh Nelson: No prob
[21:53] Josh Nelson: Jess- If so, that was outside the official
discussion. No one mentioned anything of this discussion to me.
[21:53] Jess S: okay, consider this mentioning it ;)
[21:53] Josh Nelson: If people wanted to do these, honostly they
should have come to the projects meeting
[21:53] Jess S: well, there were four sessions, it was hard to get
to all of them, as I'm sure you're aware of
[21:54] Megha Sharma: yea..we can mention it to them, rite?
[21:54] Josh Nelson: Of course, and anyone is welcome to bring up
the topic for discussion
[21:54] Josh Nelson: I just dont what to have what happened at the
last conference
[21:55] Josh Nelson: people who had no intention of getting
involved personally, proposing ideas of what they thought would be
cool.
[21:55] Josh Nelson: So if someone would like to post what happened
at this extracurricular meeting, and bring it up for discussion
[21:55] Josh Nelson: please do so via the communication methods we
have established
[21:55] Josh Nelson: Anyone else?
[21:56] Liz Bozek: I agree with Josh - at least some of the proposed projects
need to be feasible within a year
[21:56] Josh Nelson: If not, back to you Megha
[21:56] Stephanie J: well, the purpose is to excite and inspire yes? why don't
we get someone on the projects team to seriously look into the
possibility of seds doing a centennial challenge
[21:56] Stephanie J: i mean.. like a report on capabilities and manpower and
such
[21:56] Jess S: actually, it was in the schedule, but I'll send out
some minutes from my notes.
[21:56] Josh Nelson: Manpower wise there is only one chapter I
believe would have the manpower to do such a project
[21:56] Josh Nelson: that being UCF
[21:56] Todd R: i'd argue a zero-g flight is also exciting and inspiring
[21:56] John E: Sorry folks I have to go work on a lab that's due
tomorrow. See you next week.
[21:57] Todd R: bye john
[21:57] Megha Sharma: not a problem...thanks John
[21:57] Stephanie J: Well, i'm not dissing what we're doing now. it is
exciting. very
[21:57] Todd R: yeah i know
[21:57] Stephanie J: i'm just saying that a long term project would be cool too
[21:58] Stephanie J: it would... bring together the seds generations so to
speak... not have all this year-to-year, whatever we can pull out of
our bums stuff
[21:58] Mark Schaffer: Sounds like a discussion for the forums. :)
[21:58] Megha Sharma: long term is good, but we want to see results also
especially since we as SEDS have not done any national project for a
while
[21:58] Ryan M: I need to switch rooms (I shall be back in a couple of
minutes)
[21:59] Todd R: yeah i think it is an awesome idea, but i think the scale
of it may be too large to sustain
[21:59] Josh Nelson: Not that large scale is bad
[21:59] Josh Nelson: but we have to look at first involving
chapters of all size
[21:59] Stephanie J: thats what i'm saying, its an awesome idea, we may NOT be
able to do it, but we MAY as well... and we won't know until we
seriously check it out
[21:59] Josh Nelson: these first two projects can be done by any
size chapter
[21:59] Stephanie J: i'm just proposing to have it on the list of serious
considerations
[22:00] Josh Nelson: Anyway this is taking up a big portion of
Megha's meeting.
[22:00] Josh Nelson: If you guys want to seriously pursue this, I
encourage you to get on the projects listserv
[22:00] Josh Nelson: seds-projects@seds.org
[22:00] Josh Nelson: And post your ideas on the forums
[22:00] Jess S: sorry Megha :-/
[22:00] Josh Nelson: After thanksgiving we will be having a big
meeting on this
[22:00] Megha Sharma: yes, please participate in the forums
[22:01] Josh Nelson: Megha, back to you!
[22:01] Megha Sharma: n yes there will be special meetings allocated for
projects
[22:01] Megha Sharma: moving on
[22:02] Megha Sharma: Jennifer, Matt, n Liz have nothing in specific...they
are getting right onto their work this week..so no updates from them
[22:02] Megha Sharma: rite?
[22:02] Matt C: i got one thing
[22:02] Megha Sharma: sure
[22:03] Matt C: if anyone has any contact info from students at the
conference they want to pass along to me ...e-mail it to me
[22:03] Matt C: schools or students that aren't SEDS members that is
[22:03] Mark Schaffer: Kirk or Erin should have a list of all the registrants
and their email addresses.
[22:04] Matt C: thats all i got
[22:04] Megha Sharma: and thats Matt...by the way
[22:04] Matt C: hi everyone
[22:04] Megha Sharma: all set Matt?
[22:05] Matt C: yep
[22:05] Megha Sharma: ok
[22:05] Megha Sharma: Ryan..do u have anythin?
[22:06] Ryan M: all set
[22:06] Megha Sharma: awesome
[22:06] Megha Sharma: yea ryan is getting together with Chris, Kirk and Alex
and figuring all the stuff out...so he's on it
[22:07] Megha Sharma: Jess, Mark do u have anything to add?
[22:07] Mark Schaffer: Not really. Jennifer and I are going to meet up over
the next week and do that transfer of knowledge thing.
[22:07] Josh Nelson: direct neural download?
[22:07] Jenni: Matrix-style.
[22:07] Josh Nelson: Sweet.
[22:08] Megha Sharma: awesome
[22:08] Jess S: nope, you guys are doing awesome. Sorry for the
little interruption about the tech projects.
[22:08] Jess S: I guess the only thing I have to say is that you
shouldn't be afraid to try new things. The awesome thing about SEDS
is it gives you a chance to explore your abilities and boundaries.
Take advantage of that!
[22:08] Megha Sharma: coool
[22:08] Megha Sharma: thanks Jess
[22:08] Jess S: And if you have any questions, try it out first,
then ask the old board. =)
[22:08] Megha Sharma: Todd?
[22:08] Todd R: well just a few things
[22:09] Todd R: im going to be organizing having SEDS well represented at
various space conferences/eventr across the country throughtout the
year
[22:09] Todd R: at least try to get a few people to each major event
[22:09] Matt C: good idea
[22:09] Todd R: volunteer where we can, get funding where we cant
[22:10] Matt C: recruit where we can
[22:10] Todd R: so i have a list of events to start off with, to long to
list here
[22:10] Todd R: exactly
[22:10] Todd R: thats about it, i can send out the list tonight
[22:10] Jenni: Todd, can you email that list to me as well? I'd be
interested in seeing it.
[22:11] Jenni: Oh, to everyone then, nevermind!
[22:11] Todd R: its just events, dates, locations, and goals for each
event in terms of attendance from us
[22:11] Todd R: :)
[22:11] Todd R: thats it from me, as long as megha you have all the
conference election stuff under control
[22:12] Megha Sharma: yep, Todd...thats all set
[22:12] Todd R: sounds good!
[22:12] Josh Nelson (Arizona): Todd, what areas of interest are we focusing
on with the conferences?
[22:12] Todd R: well pretty much anything space related
[22:12] Todd R: some AIAA/AAS technical ones
[22:12] Todd R: then there's X-prize obviousley
[22:12] Todd R: mars society conference
[22:13] Todd R: space eneration, ISDC, etc
[22:13] Josh Nelson: coll
[22:13] Todd R: *geneation
[22:13] Josh Nelson: cool even\
[22:13] Josh Nelson: will wait for your e-mail
[22:13] Todd R: yeah its all in there
[22:13] Megha Sharma: I have to add something...a fundraising committe---
divided to raise money for Travel Fund and national Projects
[22:14] Megha Sharma: we want to start raising the money now...so we can help
send ppl to all these conf.
[22:14] Todd R: yeah dfinetly
[22:15] Mark Schaffer: What's the next big event for SEDS?
[22:15] Stephanie J: i have very little experience with fundraising but I am
soo willing to be a lackey/minion for someone who does
[22:16] Megha Sharma: I am thinking about opening of school party meeting
[22:16] Matt C: i will be searching the internet in my free time to
pursue funding options that Peter mentioned
[22:16] Megha Sharma: and Yuri's night
[22:16] Mark Schaffer: I mean in terms of what we'd have to fundraise for.
[22:17] Todd R: the next event is...
[22:17] Mark Schaffer: What will be the first use of the Travel Fund?
[22:17] Todd R: well the next even i had listed is the 2006 AIAA/AAS Space
Flight Mechanics Meeting, January 22-26th, 2006
[22:17] Megha Sharma: I think its ISDC
[22:18] Megha Sharma: never mind
[22:18] Todd R: but that may be more of one to send regional people too
[22:18] Todd R: there are a couple like that
[22:18] Liz Bozek: I really want to get some SEDS people to March Storm
[22:18] Mark Schaffer: That makes me happy. :D
[22:18] Liz Bozek: and I will be working on that
[22:19] Todd R: yeah Liz can you send me some info on that so i can add it
to my list?
[22:19] Josh Nelson: Liz were you the one who just liberated the
nan listserv?
[22:19] Mark Schaffer: It'll be tough/impossible to get good sponsorship for
March Storm, since it's politically related.
[22:20] Mark Schaffer: That was me, Josh.
[22:20] Josh Nelson: k just curious
[22:20] Liz Bozek: actually all i have are the Prospace documents from the
conference and Jim Muncy and Jeff Feiges's contacts
[22:20] Josh Nelson: let people know when your doing stuff like
that ;-)
[22:21] Jess S: oh, well I guess now is the time to tell you guys-
I made a new list serve that is seds-education@seds.org
[22:21] Mark Schaffer: What do you mean?
[22:21] Josh Nelson: like tell everyone who is on the listserv what
is happening before deleting them all
[22:21] Josh Nelson: :-)
[22:21] Mark Schaffer: Eh.
[22:21] Megha Sharma: Mark...explain why its politicallly related..and if it
is then the vested interests can still help raise funds
[22:21] Josh Nelson: I was looking around to see if we got hacked
[22:22] Josh Nelson: till we saw that message
[22:22] Mark Schaffer: The list hadn't been used in ~8 months.
[22:22] Josh Nelson: Not till Hannah left.
[22:22] Josh Nelson: since*
[22:22] Megha Sharma: I will get together with Mark to set up an
outline...and we will have a special meeting for fundraising,
brainstorming ideas and stuff
[22:23] Mark Schaffer: The last message was sent on February 8. I didn't
think anyone would cry too much about the list being dismantled.
[22:23] Mark Schaffer: Megha - the event involves lobbying to congressional
offices.
[22:23] Josh Nelson: Mark- Again this brings up the constitution
issue
[22:23] Mark Schaffer: Feb 9*
[22:24] Mark Schaffer: I've danced around it nicely. SEDS isn't affiliating
itself with ProSpace.
[22:24] Mark Schaffer: I'm acting independently as the ProSpace Student
Coordinator.
[22:24] Josh Nelson: Though you are directly affiliated with it
[22:24] Josh Nelson: and you are having us support an action of
theirs
[22:24] Josh Nelson: that would qualify as endorsing a political
organization
[22:25] Mark Schaffer: No. I'm having individual students support ProSpace.
[22:25] Mark Schaffer: Independent of SEDS.
[22:25] Mark Schaffer: Never will you see SEDS stamped on any of ProSpace's
agendas.
[22:25] Josh Nelson: Then why use a SEDS listserv?
[22:25] Mark Schaffer: Nor will I be using any SEDS funds.
[22:25] Mark Schaffer: It's temporary until I set up the prospace listserv.
[22:25] Josh Nelson: You are using SEDS resources to support an
exterior organization in direct violation of the constitution
[22:26] Mark Schaffer: If you'd like, I can not use the listserv at all.
[22:26] Josh Nelson: listservs can be set up in 5 minutes on yahoo
[22:26] Mark Schaffer: Feel free to set one up for me.
[22:26] Mark Schaffer: Anyway, the seds.org server is used for more than just
SEDS.
[22:26] Mark Schaffer: The listserv is not necessarily affiliated with the
organization.
[22:26] Josh Nelson: But within our constitution
[22:27] Josh Nelson: yes it is
[22:27] Josh Nelson: it is a use of our resources, and therefore
affiliated with us
[22:27] Mark Schaffer: Fine. I'll disband the list.
[22:27] Megha Sharma: ok..any more new business?
[22:27] Josh Nelson: I would like to see the people who want us to
be politically active actually take the initiative to support an
amendment to our constitution allowing such activity
[22:28] Mark Schaffer: I don't think SEDS needs to be politically active.
The constitution should stay as is.
[22:28] Ryan M: well what are the ramifications of us becomming politically
active
[22:28] Josh Nelson: not getting our 501c
[22:28] Matt C: affiliating with democrats
[22:28] Mark Schaffer: We don't have it anyway. ;)
[22:28] Josh Nelson: but John is working on it
[22:28] Mark Schaffer: 501c3 that is.
[22:28] Josh Nelson: anyway
[22:29] Josh Nelson: Megha, back to you
[22:29] Megha Sharma: ok
[22:29] Josh Nelson: I just wanted to handle the abuse of SEDS
resources issue
[22:29] Josh Nelson: Oh!
[22:29] Josh Nelson: I do have one item of new buisness
[22:29] Megha Sharma: we need no political discussion..which has no head or
toes
[22:29] Josh Nelson: As UA-SEDS is hosting the server, we are
responsible for maintaining the e-mail accounts. A TON of alumni
have, and use seds.org e-mail accounts
[22:29] Megha Sharma: pl. start reviewing the const.....we will have a review
meeting pretty soon
[22:30] Megha Sharma: thats all from me
[22:30] Josh Nelson: the Exec board or CoC has to decide if we want
to keep the dues at current level ($10-$15 a year I believe it is)
and what bank account we want them submitted to
[22:30] Mark Schaffer: $25 a year.
[22:31] Josh Nelson: Is that what it is currently? or is that a
suggestion mark?
[22:31] Matt C: currently
[22:31] Josh Nelson: k
[22:31] Megha Sharma: ok..thats all that will tag onto the const review
meeting
[22:31] Megha Sharma: all set everyone?
[22:31] Todd R: yeo
[22:31] Todd R: yep
[22:31] Matt C: yea
[22:31] Jess S: I have another question
[22:32] Megha Sharma: shoot
[22:32] Jess S: sorry I am delayed
[22:32] Mark Schaffer: seds-nan@seds.org has been disbanded.
[22:32] Jess S: why would dues change? and what does alum having
seds emails have to do with anything? and didn't we just set up a
bank account? why would the money go to a different account?
[22:32] Jess S: sorry, that was actually four questions.
[22:32] Mark Schaffer: For those concerned about its use.
[22:33] Josh Nelson: lol
[22:33] Josh Nelson: 4 for the price of one
[22:33] Josh Nelson: more for our money
[22:33] Josh Nelson: ok
[22:33] Josh Nelson: I am just bringing this up because int he past
2 years we havent been enforcing this
[22:33] Jess S: enforcing what/
[22:33] Josh Nelson: and this is income for SEDS and the use of the
server that we havent been collecting due to putting the issue off
until later
[22:34] Jess S: I'm really confused what you are talking about.
[22:35] Megha Sharma: Ok..give me a min here
[22:35] Josh Nelson: ok
[22:35] Josh Nelson: I will write an e-mail summary of the issue
[22:35] Megha Sharma: the meeting is officially over
