I. Director of Finances

  • has a contact at the IRS to talk to (after many minutes on hold)
  • the state of MA hasn’t processed the SEDS annual reports and John will give them until early January
  • no money from Purdue yet
  • University of Colorado in Boulder has sent dues, to great relief of Director of Special Projects who wanted to make sure they could participate in said national project



II. Director of Expansion working on getting contacts at all tech schools possible



III. Next newsletter is not out until January 1st, to be done by March 1st

  • Chris Lewicky, josh neubert, jeff foust for alum profile
  • sudent profile ideas?

IV. National Project

  • Zero G
    • MIT and Colorado flying minimum 4-5 people includes grad students
    • ERAU sending specs on Icarus and are excited about possibility of SEDS chapters building payloads for their rocket
    • UW is flying at the minimum 12
    • over total for one flight, we will fly two
    • 27 people per flight, that includes media
  • National competition for SEDS high altitude balloons
    • monetary prize of 1000-2000 per area (best photo, best science, etc)
    • wait until zero g is over

V. Website

  • need different exec departments to make sure their web sections are updated
