- Director sent them with delivery confirmation and got such confirmation
- Will have to get Jeff Foust and Kirk Kittell to sign them again and resend them
- Must stop payment on the first check, the $150 fee
- the IRS stuff should be fine
II. Chair asks about interest in AAS Goddard Symposium
- Dates are March 14th – March 15th
- Mike Griffin will be there
- www.astronautical.org is the link
- Goddard is a relatively important event since SEDS has an official relationship with the AAS
- only $80 in the travel fun right now, Goddard is not a sponsored event
- part of travel fund strategy is to say “we want to send Y students to this event at an estimated cost of Z dollars” and so this event may be able to be sponsored
- Vice Chair to send an email asking attendees to respond by a certain date so Travel Fund can find money for them
- list of potential funders: http://wiki.seds.org/index.php/TravelFund)
- AAS to be on list of primary events because of job and interview opportunities
III. Vice Chair asks exec members to look at list of primary and secondary importance events on the wiki and to comment.
