I.Director of Expansion plans on hitting new schools to start chapters there

  • interest in Cornell and Emory
  • trying to gain contacts at Stanford, GA Tech, Princeton, Cornell, Penn State, UCLA, VA Tech, Ohio State, UC-Berkeley, USC
  • Vice Chair suggests North Dakota, as they have a department of space studies, as well as UT-Austin, filling a large regional hole

II. Interest for SEDS to give presentation to Kennedy Space Center interns

  • Members of Florida chapters would give presentation in person
  • The Chair is working on the presentation
  • KSC wants to do it mid to late July
  • Director of External Affairs is the contact
  • Chair asks that each Exec member send pictures and short job description

III. Send this month’s reports by Sunday July 16 IV. Space Policy Proposal is going out to a list of people soon V. Chair appeals to Director of Chapter Affairs to find people willing to help with national fundraising VI. SpaceVision 2006 Conference update

  • Speakers from KSC, JPL, FAA, AAS, SETI
  • Peter Diamandis
  • Airline prices on the website have been updated
  • Trying to get cost of banquet reduced
