- Chapter Contact info
- I encourage chapter leads (or anyone receiving this email) to have all of their members subscribe to the SEDS-announce list (http://seds.org/mailman/listinfo/seds-announce)
- We would like to start a phone number list with as many phone numbers as possible from each chapter. Please send any contact information that you are willing to give to dlucas_sedsucf [at] yahoo.com
- Chapter Projects
- A lot of chapters are doing a rocket project and there is a rocket competition in the works. As more information is obtained, it will be distributed to the chapters.
- Website
- The idea of creating a chapter projects link was discussed.
- Each chapter would have a blog on the website where it can talk about what projects they are working on, what their plans are for future projects, and any other general updates.

- Chapter Updates
- A format for each chapter to follow and submit updates will be sent out before the next CoC meeting
- After everyone has had a chance to look at what will be asked of for the updates, a schedule of how often they will be due (bi-weekly, monthly, etc.) as well as any other suggestions will be discussed at the next CoC meeting
- New Chapters
- How to get new chapters started at other schools was discussed
- Having a SEDS-sponsored speaker attend the school to speak and encourage the start of a new chapter
- Make SEDS more recognized so that people know what the organization is and does
- Correlate with other organizations such as AAS, AIAA, IEEE, etc.
- Get in touch with representatives from schools that used to have active chapters to see if they're interested in getting involved again.
- Any contacts would be greatly appreciated
- Mentors for new chapters
- Have established chapters work with new chapters to help them get off the ground
- Penn State University will be having it's first meeting next week and has asked for any help or advice to get them going
