Jedi8798 (8:50:35 PM): given that it is a month before new elections lizeeb3 (8:51:16 PM): I think we need to make sure we know how to continue filing the report which means starting to collect the paperwork and instructions now lizeeb3 (8:51:20 PM): what do you guys think? rmmlg08 (8:51:50 PM): yeah Jedi8798 (8:51:50 PM): what do you mean by collecting? rmmlg08 (8:52:08 PM): we should also actively try to find someone who wants to do dir finance Jedi8798 (8:52:11 PM): yeah lizeeb3 (8:52:18 PM): well no one has hard copies of anything Jedi8798 (8:52:22 PM): curious, who here is planning to run in November? lizeeb3 (8:52:31 PM): and i personally do not know what to do to pick up where John left off rmmlg08 (8:52:39 PM): me: same things rmmlg08 (8:52:52 PM): (although willing to give up webmaster if someone is interested) nyeerrmm (8:53:01 PM): i'll do it again if no one competent is running lizeeb3 (8:54:18 PM): i will do something other than chair if i am in grad school lizeeb3 (8:54:27 PM): but i dont know when i will know that nyeerrmm (8:54:34 PM): although i'd like to see someone else run, see if they have different ideas of what to do nyeerrmm (8:54:36 PM): when do you hear? lizeeb3 (8:54:55 PM): april lizeeb3 (8:55:03 PM): so maybe i will be like a darrell Jedi8798 (8:55:04 PM): Since I've gotten people bloody interested in this rocket project, I think I better run for projects again Jedi8798 (8:55:18 PM): Liz, you could always run for Treasurer rmmlg08 (8:55:19 PM): ah, another darrell? Jedi8798 (8:55:26 PM): and then pass on the duties later nyeerrmm (8:55:38 PM): thats what i want to do too... be another darrell rmmlg08 (8:55:39 PM): I'll have to tel him you aspire to him nyeerrmm (8:56:33 PM): i understand his whole wanting to concentrate on the local chapter... makes sense to me lizeeb3 (8:56:34 PM): yeah nyeerrmm (8:56:47 PM): especially since we have a weaker chapter rmmlg08 (8:57:07 PM): so make sure you talk to people in you rchapter rmmlg08 (8:57:12 PM): *your chapters rmmlg08 (8:57:19 PM): and encourage them to run rmmlg08 (8:57:28 PM): or else we risk having a lot of open positions rmmlg08 (8:57:45 PM): esp since a number of our board members seemed to burn out at the end of spring term rmmlg08 (8:57:51 PM): this year lizeeb3 (8:58:30 PM): yeah lizeeb3 (8:58:47 PM): i know we have one guy, nick kopp who wants to run for national lizeeb3 (8:58:48 PM): s lizeeb3 (8:58:55 PM): nut he might not be present for elections lizeeb3 (8:59:01 PM): just an fyi nyeerrmm (8:59:12 PM): i have a couple i might be able to run like that rmmlg08 (8:59:21 PM): that's fine, I wasn't at 05 when I ran for webmaster nyeerrmm (8:59:42 PM): liz wasnt when she ran for outreach in 05 either lizeeb3 (8:59:52 PM): ok lizeeb3 (9:01:47 PM): well does anyone else have an update?
