Rick Hanton will represent executive board at next CoC meeting
All SEDS Executive Board Members: Send weekly progress reports to secretary@seds.org by Sunday night of each week

Meeting Minutes

Council of Chapters Recap.
- Discussed possible ways to streamline and imporve future Council of Chapters meetings
  - Grant E-mailed chapter representatives the rules of procedure for the Council of Chapters meeting.
- Next Council of Chapters meeting Wednesday December 17th 6:30 MST

Discussed having a Point of Contact (PoC) for educational outreach at each SEDS chapter.
- Possible incentive for SEDS chapters who elect a PoC

Discussed the video podcast project, blog proposal, calendar proposal. Chapter Representatives approved with no major issues.

SEDS Executive Board Member Polo shirts
- Poll of interest for SEDS executive board Polos indicated most officers are interested
- (Possible) Funding for SEDS Executive board polos to come from SEDS organization
- (Possibly) using an online third party organization (like Zazzle) to produce the polos. This would expedite distribution time and make polos available to any SEDS member.

New SEDS Chapter Expansion Kit

Progress Reports

Matt Cannella
- Researching the former SEDS newsletter, "NOVA", and began creating a prototype new edition.
- Refining newsletter more detail, and have a version for review by the E-board sometime before the end of December.
- Begun communication and work with Josh Sosa, for ideas about the upcoming SEDS-USA blog.

Keri Bean
- Brainstorming with Doug Mallette (SEDS UCF Alumni) about SEDS promotional video.
  - Doug made a very rough draft video and is well done.
- Talking to people in different chapters about helping write scripts for the upcoming SEDS Podcasts.
- Continued talking to my contacts about getting help from scientists, etc. in filming and editing scripts for SEDS Podcast.
- Hosted a space booth at a local elementary school's science night.

Basant V Sagar
- Reviewing past projects...

Justin Graves
- Communicating with my predecessor
- Currently in the process of switching over the SEDS-USA account
- will soon be getting in contact with the FLTC for more info about the 501(c)3 status.
- Former Director of Finance also will contact Justin with the 501(c) 3 status once he receives word from the IRS.
- looked over more of the financial info form the past for reference.

Ryan McLinko
- Finalized the Endowment Fund Press Release and submitted it off to a number of places.
- Continuing to try to pursue Endowment contacts, especially now due to the release of the Press Release.
- Additionally, helping to get new people started on the exec board and getting updates for conferences in 2009

Zeke Silva
- Posted the CoC meeting minutes from this last week.
- Sent the new chapter expansion kit to my contact at NM Tech, hopefully spawning more interest.
- Throwing around ideas to produce a PSA on behalf of SEDS to be sent out to college radio stations. Need board input.
