Why companies would donate: -internship database -abstract -can’t definitely state what we can give the sponsors -ask several companies to determine what they might want from this -companies that were members of AAS would give money to scholarships for example, so if we can make it fit their interests, that may help -more than likely individuals will fund this -talk to Peter and see if we can get them to help out with pushing this/generating ideas of how to do this -need to structure a presentation regarding what to tell people about what SEDS is and why they should fund us; mission statement -list out projects/purpose of what these goals are for the endowment fund (we have tools listed, but we want the end goals) -think about what we want to do and then come up with tools to achieve these goals -if someone’s putting in a big check, we can take input on how money managed -proof that things are going on constantly -make front page of SEDS website a blog -good to have the minutes, for ex, on the wiki -things that chapters/national organization are doing; things that put activity to our name
