going

just getting more schools to join

that you were working on updating the expansion kit

joining SEDS
[21:09] Jedi8798: k, can anyone recall exactly what we
were doing with the Expansion packet?
[21:09] Jedi8798: I recall someone was working on it
in some form
[21:10] RolandBolser: I was supposed to make the
generic form for it
[21:10] rmmlg08: I thought it was going to be updated
as well
[21:10] RolandBolser: then beyond that I don't know if
anything really got assigned
[21:10] Jedi8798: Ok, some adults have been contacting
me requesting an information packet to hand out to
students they would like to get interested
[21:10] Jedi8798: so I think it would be a very good
idea to get an expansion kit together

process of joining SEDS
[21:14] hydrogenlithium: not on physically printing
out the stuff

[21:15] Jedi8798: in that the process of joining SEDS
needs to be defined first
[21:15] hydrogenlithium: I don't think it is necessary
to print out the kit and mail it to the new chapters
[21:15] hydrogenlithium: they can just read the stuff
online
[21:16] Jedi8798: and is the stuff online up to date?
[21:16] hydrogenlithium: no
[21:16] Jedi8798: as in is there a full kit on how to
set up a chapter, advice, and what not on there?
[21:16] Jedi8798: ok well we need to get that worked
on after the process of joining SEDS is finished
[21:16] hydrogenlithium: I don't have acess to modify
the web yet

[21:18] KellyMann10: I am working with the Monta
Vista high school, and im trying to get them to pay
dues to SEDS so they can be official
[21:18] KellyMann10: I also have their new contact
information for who ever needs it
[21:19] KellyMann10: Also the update with the
exchange student from Korea is that I still dont have
a place for him, and were running out of time, but he
may have just found a place from some other
organization, so ill know the details soon
[21:19] Jedi8798: could you put their contact info
into the Google Document of chapter contact info?

[21:20] KellyMann10: I also have put together a
contact list of schools who might want a SEDS chapter
in my area

endowment fund stuff, so I have some things there

looking to see if anything big catchs my eye

cept Ryan and Myself, lets take some time now to go
through the Bylaws

[21:26] Jedi8798: Ryan and I have already built 2 new
sections in the beggining
[21:26] Jedi8798: one for the endowment fund and one
for the board of advisors
[21:28] Jedi8798: Read over those first two items, if
you have any suggestions, voice em now
[21:30] Jedi8798: and the very useful thing about
Google Docs is I can tell that only Ryan, Jake, and
myself are viewing the document

Executive Board

with their positions and where they would like to see
these goe
[21:36] Jedi8798: What i would like to do here, is
talk with you each individually where you would like
to see your position go
[21:36] Jedi8798: instead of debating each one
extensively here now
[21:36] Jedi8798: So if everyone is ok with that?
[21:36] KellyMann10: yeah
[21:37] RolandBolser: well what if there's overlap
[21:37] Jedi8798: thats a problem I'll need to discuss
with you
[21:37] Jedi8798: eg External affairs
[21:37] Jedi8798: because that position was created
out of the blue 3 years ago

[21:38] Jedi8798: so we'll need to discuss where we
want to go with that.
