exec updates (from Josh) -jim volp: taken up by SEDS-Spain -travel fund will go to helping send people to SEDSIC -details will be det'd later -dues definition -announced Aug 1st -due week before conference -merchandise at tables -can sell stuff @ ISDC table comments from chapters -UCF: what's up with 501c3 -response: Ryan McLinko: everything has been submitted to IRS agenda items -resume database -Josh: database online -Josh walked through how to create a resume database -this list also proves that you are a SEDS member -suggestions -fix major -space for personal website, recs -can others see it?; privacy rules -places for minor -can we set vertain resumes as different types -others? -won't become active until >= 100 profiles -you can have up to 2 resumes -demographic survey -Josh: some companies want this (race, gender, etc) -one page survey for chap reps -assemble a composition of seds report -basant: privacy issues? -corbin: can we not publicize indiv chapter things -other ucf person: anonymously fill out forms, issues with privacy? -some schools have rules against this? -you can just submit numbers at a chapter level, so shouldn't be a problem -corbin: ask these things on the resume acct -basant: just present final report not broken down by school -corbin: do we put class standing on? -josh: maybe -ucsd: web survey on a chapter level -josh: check your schools over next month to see if any issues with this -brian: proposes to move to next month -basant: seconded -motion passes 11-0-0 -memorandum of understanding -we have lots of these, but mean nothing; want to set these in stone -want to re-sign these and set these down -Josh goes through the MOU draft on screen -corbin: are we asking a little much of these groups -these are flexible terms and what these groups generally expect to give -UofA: will these be posted -yes -Michael: who does the bartering -Josh: me (as Chair) -every year, we give affiliates a list of grads -Michael: we urge our members to join while still SEDS members -Basant: motion to vote for approval -My-Linh: second -motion passes 10-0-0 (UB left earlier)
