[17:31] Rick Hanton: Fine w/ me. I'm finishing up our club's budget for the school year.
[17:31] Matt Cannella: should be a short meeting anyways, no?
[17:31] Joshua Nelson: At present the agenda is: 1) CoC Agenda (Grant), 2) ISDC Updates (Ryan), 3) Vote on in person Exec Meeting last week in May, 4) TPS update

[17:35] Joshua Nelson: K, well getting started
[17:36] Joshua Nelson: First up, CoC Agenda. Grant?
[17:36] Grant Atkinson: alrighty
[17:37] Grant Atkinson: like i was saying before the start of the meeting
[17:37] Grant Atkinson: i'd like to hear any input y'all have on what agenda items should be on this week's CoC meeting
[17:37] Grant Atkinson: so far I have:
[17:37] Grant Atkinson: 1) the change to dues policy tabled at the last meeting
[17:37] Grant Atkinson: 2) ISDC update
[17:38] Grant Atkinson: 3) Voting on in-person CoC meeting
[17:38] Grant Atkinson: 4) IYA outreach ideas discussion
[17:38] Grant Atkinson: that seems like a pretty healthy list in itself
[17:38] Grant Atkinson: but if there's anything i'm missing let me know
[17:38] Matt Cannella: can we just throw a shoutout for SEDSHouse?
[17:38] Joshua Nelson: Executive Board meeting decisions from the previous month?
[17:38] Grant Atkinson: we could include that as part of the ISDC update

[17:41] Joshua Nelson: Ryan, any changes on our current ISDC plans?
[17:41] Ryan McLinko: not really
[17:41] Ryan McLinko: but there is some input I'd like
[17:41] Joshua Nelson: on a note, NASA got back to me about the tour
[17:41] Ryan McLinko: I have gotten nothing on speakers
[17:41] Ryan McLinko: ok, go ahead on that first
[17:41] Joshua Nelson: They've asked for the approximate number of people we'd like to go
[17:42] Ryan McLinko: what timeframe are we looking at
[17:42] Matt Cannella: has left the chat
[17:42] Ryan McLinko: day before?
[17:42] Joshua Nelson: I've said we'd prefer either May 27th (the day before), May 31st (the sunday) or June 1st
[17:42] Ryan McLinko: and what knd of tour
[17:42] Joshua Nelson: and I said we'd have probably ~20 people total
[17:42] Ryan McLinko: sounds like a good guess
[17:43] Joshua Nelson: They're going to talk to me tommorow and let me know what is possible
[17:43] Joshua Nelson: sounds like they're willing to at least give us something
[17:43] Joshua Nelson: they're just deciding what
[17:43] Ryan McLinko: yeah, because depeneding on how behind-the-scenes it it
[17:43] Ryan McLinko: it may be something that mosy people have seen before
[17:43] Joshua Nelson: So I'll email you all with an update on that pending my conversation tommorow, and will update CoC if it comes through
[17:43] Joshua Nelson: yeah
[17:43] Ryan McLinko: but this is at least a good start
[17:43] Ryan McLinko: keep me posted
[17:44] Ryan McLinko: (btw, we're doing satellite vibe testing this week, so my email resposiveness will be much less)

[17:47] Ryan McLinko: and see if anyone sticks out, then let me know
[17:47] Joshua Nelson: of their overall?
[17:47] Joshua Nelson: or did we get a list of who is willing?
[17:47] Ryan McLinko: yes
[17:48] Ryan McLinko: well, as far as we've done in the past
[17:48] Ryan McLinko: we put in request
[17:48] Ryan McLinko: and then isdc sees if it will be possible

[17:59] Joshua Nelson: after dropping off the face of the earth for a while
[17:59] Joshua Nelson: They've again expressed interest in a SEDS MOU
[17:59] Joshua Nelson: but don't seem to know what they want out of it
[18:00] Joshua Nelson: I think we've gone over this before
[18:00] Keri Hancock: ok, so aren't we right where we were before still?
[18:00] Joshua Nelson: but does anyone have suggestions of benefits we could get from The Planetary Society
[18:01] Joshua Nelson: the things we can give them are pretty much the same as NSS and SFF
[18:02] Joshua Nelson: k, well if anyone has suggestions, please email me
[18:02] Joshua Nelson: I've sent them a list of suggestions I had
[18:02] Keri Hancock: maybe a little more exposure through their stuff, like their magazine and radio
[18:02] Joshua Nelson: but just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions
