Grant Atkinson (7:04:42 PM): three big items on the CoC this last week
Grant Atkinson (7:05:00 PM): first, we had a SpaceVision 2009 planning update from Kyle Stephens
Grant Atkinson (7:05:16 PM): then, the first report from the SEDS Conference Committee
Grant Atkinson (7:05:20 PM): presented by Eric Peters
Grant Atkinson (7:05:31 PM): the CoC then voted to make the committee permanent
Grant Atkinson (7:05:45 PM): and to officially recognize its name to prevent any ambiguity about it in the future
Grant Atkinson (7:06:09 PM): finally we discussed the biannual chapter satisfaction survey outlined in the description of the Director of Chapter Affairs in the SEDS Bylaws
Grant Atkinson (7:06:17 PM): as far as I know, i don't remember this survey being done
Grant Atkinson (7:06:25 PM): but the reps were receptive of doing it in the future
Grant Atkinson (7:06:44 PM): any questions, comments, or concnerns?

Matt Cannella (7:11:34 PM): i'd like to include any big news in the NOVA... or at least can we ask how many members of a given chapter had NASA, NewSpace, or OldSpace internships this summer?
Josh Nelson (7:11:46 PM): Chapter Update is kinda a seperate thing
Matt Cannella (7:11:48 PM): ok
Josh Nelson (7:11:57 PM): might as well ask seperately for chapters to send in those updates

Grant Atkinson (7:13:31 PM): just the question about internships for NOVA?
Matt Cannella (7:14:03 PM): that and updates of chapters... any big project plans for the semester or summer accomplishments in their projects, etc?
Matt Cannella (7:14:41 PM): we already have our alumni spotlight, and darrell cain has written an "alumni perspective" piece that i think is really good

Josh Nelson (7:16:53 PM): that need to be done before the next semester begins
Josh Nelson (7:17:11 PM): ie, send out surveys, remind chapters about dues, launch projects, etc..
Josh Nelson (7:17:45 PM): Probably the best way to submit them would be in the weekly updates
