SEDS-USA Executive Board Meeting, February 23, 2009

Meeting Minutes

• Server upgrade reimbursement:
  • server upgrade is complete! New hard drives have 1 TB of space, and 16 GB of RAM.
  • Executive board voted to reimburse Chris (SEDS Alumni who donated the server) for his serves
    • Vote passed 6-0-1

• Executive board discussed Facebook ad and gave Rick final input and comments.
  • Board decided to put a budget of $100 for the facebook ad campaign during a 1 week trail
  • Results will determined by website traffic, number of chapter inquiries, and number of clicks.
  • Executive board voted unanimously that these conditions are acceptable.

• As an alternative to the $400 ISDC hotel, Matt Cannella proposed interested SEDS chapters rent a house for the upcoming ISDC conference in Orlando.

• Keri Hancock briefly mentioned that she received two e-mails of interest about starting SEDS chapters.
