Meeting Minutes

• SEDS Logo Redesign / SEDS Shop
  • After SpaceVidcast adopted the SEDS-UCF design for the show notes, I started thinking about a redesign of the SEDS logo.
  • Not technically a full redesign, but a reworking to create a large version (>2MP) of a logo like this one: http://quest.nasa.gov/projects/spacewardbound/partners/seds.jpg, as the blue SEDS design is very plain for some applications.
  • Second, once we have the logo a little cleaner, we could open a shop on seds.org using a company like Spreadshirt.
  • That would allow individual members to get more than local chapter SEDS gear.
• SLU-SEDS dues
  • Can't find them, and not sure if they were paid or not (SLU isn't sure either).
• 501c3 Nonprofit Update
  • We must follow the word of the constitution / bylaws. Where the two conflict we must make changes.
  • Changes to bylaws just need to be sent to our lawyer
  • Multiple ways for Chapters to receive money, but no matter which method we use, it is very important records AND receipts are kept
• Secretary Update
  • Waiting for e-mail to go out to Reps by Grant.
• NewSpace 2009 Hospitality
  • Suggested that SEDS again sponsor a hospitality suite at NewSpace.
  • Vote to provide $150 in hospitality donation passes 6-0-0.
