Meeting Minutes

• CoC Recap (Grant)
  • CoC voted to impeach Zeke Silva (fmr. secretary).
  • CoC discussed Keri B.'s SEDS mentor idea.
  • There was a lively discussion of the SEDS-regions idea.
  • A committee was formed to research SEDS-regions conferences SEDS should attend.
  • Plan is to close nominations for Secretary on Friday and bring the issue to an electronic ballot vote.
• Agenda Plans for next CoC
  • Bring Kyle for a SpaceVision update.
  • Report from the regional conference committee.
  • Might have constitutional amendments from the board.
  • Basant will represent the Exec Board at the next CoC on July 29.
• Preliminary Constitution Discussion
  • The Exec jobs needs updating and the punishment for no updates is too harsh. (Keri H.)
  • We can add something about the new regional setup. (Ryan)
  • Secretary jobs: post minutes, transcripts, start chat rooms, maintain SEDS history info.
  • Homework: use change tracking to make changes to the Constitution to review next time. (Ryan)

• Keri Bean (Edu Outreach)
  • Contacted by Brian Malow, who wants to interact with SEDS (he's a science comedian).
  • Ideas on a response?
• Matt Cannella (Publications)
  • Should finish 2nd Quarter NOVA by the end of the week (held up by computer death).
  • Working on tailored fliers for different Universities to post.
  • Working on re-starting University of Alabama SEDS group.
