Assist to the ESA Congress for Multi-beam antennas
OBJECTIVES
The purpose of the workshop is to provide an open forum focused on multiple beams and reconfigurable antenna architectures and technologies with the aim of fostering an exchange of ideas among antenna engineers from European and non-European companies, organisations, universities, institutions and satellite operators.
The 29th Antenna Workshop will provide an overview of the latest developments in reconfigurable space antennas (satellite and user terminals) performed in the frame of current research and developments programmes.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their technical expertise and experiences by formal presentations, both in oral and in poster format, informal discussions and round tables.
The main objectives for the 29th Antenna Workshop are:
To present the state-of-the-art and to explore innovative approaches in the area of satellite antenna with single or multiple beams reconfiguration capability either immediately before launch or during the operational life-time.
To explore and elaborate on needs, new trends and possibilities, looking at the development of antenna technologies and architectures for future telecommunications, remote sensing, and scientific applications, with special attention to multiple beam and reconfigurable antenna applications.
