Description
The idea of InStuSat is to encourage Indian students to build their own cubesats and get into activites that encourages this - workshops, lectures etc. InStuSat encourages schools, colleges and amateurs to build cubesats
Plan of action
- sign-up
- get other students interested.
- learn more about cubesats from the Internet
- blog posts by people who have worked on a student satellite project
- seek assistance from college staff
- if there is sufficient number of students arrange for an ISRO satellite engineer to come to your school/college and give you a workshop. Keep a track of cubesat workshops by entering about it on this page.
- build the cubesat
- test it
- if it works - LAUNCH it!!

How do we go about with this project?
A feasibility report on designing & fabricating & launching the first indigenous student satellite (CubeSat) is under preparation and will be completed by the end of this year. This report will provide a detailed framework for us to work on this project, and will answer the basic questions as to why, how & when. Please watch this space for further updates. |
