Open YN invitation letter

Hi Team! Below is the email I'm sending out to every space organization and friend I know. Please do the same! You may want to edit it to fit the specific recipient or group. Thanks for your help! ~Tim (Bailey)
Hello fellow space enthusiast!
I work with a group that engages the public in fun space activities through a celebration called "Yuri's Night, the World Party for Space". Each year since 2001 space-themed events have been held around the world on April 12--a pivotal date in the history of space! Bob Crippen and John Young blasted off on STS-1 on April 12, 1981 and Yuri Gagarin rocketed into the black sky on the first-ever manned spaceflight on April 12, 1961. What a coincidence--and what a great reason to celebrate!
Each year 'space parties' are hosted by a variety of individuals, organizations, and companies-- just like yours! Every group uses their unique style and resources to get the general public to embrace the concept that "space is cool". Although some people also use the occasion to educate, the main purpose of the celebrations are to create an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment with an underlying space theme.
In previous years we had ISS Expedition 6 crew and Jim Newman from STS-109 send greetings to the parties from space. This year we are expecting endorsement from ISS Expedition 12 as well. We've just released a new version of our website (www.YurisNight.net ) and will have these greetings and other resources available for your use. We're also adding a dynamic "space blogger" section with special guest writers to connect people all over the world with interesting and exciting people inside the space industry.
In the past five years over 10,000 people from all seven continents have participated in Yuri's Night events. Last year, celebrations were held in 63 locations around the globe. In 2006, on the 45th anniversary of man in space, we are looking to push the envelope and have over 250 parties. To do this, we need your help!
Are you willing to rock the world on Yuri's Night? It is only a few months away! Your help would really make a difference. There is no specific type of celebration to have; whatever you fits you and your organization is the right thing to do. To register an official celebration and get on our list of worldwide parties, log onto our website at www.YurisNight.net!
I am available to answer any questions or offer suggestions. Thanks for helping to unite the world in a celebration of space!
~Tim
PS- Please send this information on to anyone else that may be interested. Thanks!
