Rocket Launching Events
This is a listing of the rocket launching events the UASEDS has had members attend and or participate in. All members that go to an event will be listed so we know who to talk to. Each event will have at a minimal the following:
- Location and time of event.
- List of the members who went.
- Rockets that were launched by UASEDS members.
- Contacts that we received.
- What we learned.
Desert Heat March 28th and 29th
SARA's 5th Annual Winter Rocket Launch A two-day rocket extravaganza! March 28th and 29th: Saturday: 9:00 - 5:00, night launch 7:00 - 9:00 Sunday: 9:00 - 1:00 At TIMPA Complex on N. Reservation Rd. between Manville Rd. and Mile Wide Rd.

Vendors on site for food.
Discount Rocketry will be attending Desert Heat. In addition to rocket kits and related items, "A" through "G" motors will be available for sale. High power motors will not be available.
Rocket rentals available for you to launch for $2(includes motor)
Special events include mass launches, night launch
Mass launch at 11:00AM Saturday and Sunday at 1:00PM
Waiver to 4500' (Call in windows to 6500' AGL)
Fees: $10.00 per day (fees are per individual or per family, spectators are free)

- Figure out camping gear BEFORE camping
- To get level 1 certification, we need to belong to Tripoli and have a level 2 sponsor
- To get level 2 certification, we need to belong to Tripoli and have a level 3 sponsor
- To get level 3 certification, we need to belong to Tripoli and have two level 3 sponsors
