Expansion Monthly Report

Goals:

  • Update Chapter Starter Kit and make sure its purpose is clear and useful to all who view it
  • Create up to date spreadsheet with contacts listed for all engineering schools
  • Double the number of SEDS Chapters


Summary of progress:

  • 3 New Chapters (SLU, Iowa State, Carleton U)
  • 4 in formation yet to pay dues (UT-Austin, UA-Tuscaloosa, IIT, North Dakota State)
  • Spreadsheet ~10% complete
  • Minimal progress made on chapter starter kit
  • First Expansion e-mail sent two weeks ago


New Action Items Generated:

  • Continue work on contacts spreadsheet
  • Setup new chapter award for Spacevision 2006
  • Encourage current chapters to help with expansion efforts at next CoC meeting
  • Complete auto response e-mails


Miscellaneous Comments:

  • Trying to find out why UW-Madison did not pay dues
  • Appreciate Liz's effort's with IIT and SLU chapters
  • Planning to represent SEDS at National Space Symposium in April and ISDC in May.
