Goals:

  • Goals for this month were focused on Travel Fund: to generate a list of

both corporate and individual donors, and then create a 'first contact' email so that people asking for funds would have a general form to follow.

Summary of Progress:

  • Compiled list from everyone of corporate donors for matching-funds

fundraising and put this list on the wiki; received list of potential individual donors from John; created sample first contact email

New Action Items Generated:

  • Determine via the Exec board which conference(s) we are raising money for

first (to fit our strategy of telling donors right away what their money is going to); contact alumni through Kirk with mass email to start donation process; contact companies to start matching-funds process

Miscellaneous Comments:

  • On the wiki page the goal (from 2005) for fundraising once Travel Fund was

set up was $10000. Good to keep this in the back of our heads.
