SEDSAT-2 Core Committee

The "S2CC - SEDSat-2 Core Committee" constitutes as follows:
The S2CC shall consist of a board of 3 people out of different teams.
A committee member shall have a good standing within SEDSat-2 project.
Together they make major decisions and coordinate team decisions in interaction with other subsystems.
The committee further defines long-term goals and sets major reasonable deadlines and makes sure that they are going to be met (the team shall organize our work in a way that we meet them).
In addition the committee shal serve as the main representatives for the project when dealing with third parties(not necessarily the only ones)
Voting in this committee passes by unanimity, if 1 person votes against a decision an extended board ( consisting of all 8 team leaders) will be brought to bear the decision with a 2/3 majority.
The regular term of a member is limited to 5 months. Previous members can remain in the committee if they re-apply.
Every SEDSat-2 member may apply for the position, the only requirement: past experience in the field of work in or outside SEDSat-2.

Election procedure
People run for positions with an email to the list or in the general meeting. Voting is done team-wise, each team agrees on a common voting.
