From SEDSWiki

Scope
If you choose a common theme for the seds.org web page, it can also be applied to other tools such as the blogs, gallery, forums, and wiki (there will be some differences, but the core style can be applied). On this page, discuss the style -- colors, layout, etc. -- for seds.org.

Suggestions
- consider the use of xhtml/css and look at accessibility norms
Analysis
Analysis of Planetary Society website
- Footer - clearly defines copyrights, privacy policy and gives people a chance to subscribe to updates (ala seds-announce). Also provides RSS feeds.
- "Who we are" | "What we do" - These links provides you the answer as to where to hide all the thousands of links that you have on the sidebar right now.
- http://www.planetary.org/join/ - Interesting donate strategy. Membership and donation on the same page. Also, getting someone of the stature of Arthur C. Clarke to write gives you credibility? Can we do something like this?
- Also, a shop helps!
