SEDS 25
From SEDSWiki
Students for the Exploration and Development of Space was founded in 1980 at MIT and Princeton. During the 2005-2006 academic year, SEDS will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The 25th anniversary should be an occasion for reflection. What have we accomplished? Where are we now? Where should we go in the future and how do we get there?
SEDS 25 is a collaborative project to record the history and develop a vision of the future. You are invited to provide your insight on this project via SEDSWiki. If you have any information, pictures, articles, links--anything that relates to the history of SEDS--we ask you to help by submitting content to this project. You are also invited to attend the 2005 SEDS-USA Conference at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from November 10-13 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of SEDS, especially for the awards banquet on Saturday, November 12.
The Project
- SEDS-USA Endowment Fund: Support future generations of student programs.
- SEDS History: Help us record the 25-year history of SEDS.
- SpaceVision2005 Declaration: A series of recommendations from SEDS to the leaders of the space industry. This project will be developed before the 2005 SEDS-USA Conference on this site and then completed at the conference. The final product will be presented at the 2005 American Astronautical Society National Conference in Houston.
- SEDS 25 Plan: A plan of growth for SEDS for the next 25 years.
