SEDS Chapter Project Ideas

This page is for the use of Joshua Nelson and Darrell Cain to brainstorm and list possible project ideas for SEDS Chapters. Anyone else is welcome to add their own ideas!

Possible project ideas:

Technical

• SEDS Payload exchange: One chapter builds a payload while another chapter builds / launches rocket
  • Benefits: Encourages chapter communication, teamwork, leadership abilities, responsibility, trust in others work.

• SEDS Educational packet: Packet of space educational activities. These activities would be arranged by planet applicable, and then sub divided by NASA or ESA space mission. This would allow for quick access to a number of educational activities related to missions the SEDS chapter might be working on EPO with.

• SEDSAT-2: Participate in the international SEDS project to build and launch a CubeSat satellite.

• Student Voyager Project: Idea is to basically build an inter-planetary explorer.
