SEDS at XPC
From SEDSWiki
"The X Prize Cup: Earth's great space exposition. This year's Cup features three spectacular competitions with over $2.5 million in prize purses, multiple high-powered sounding rocket launches, the unveiling of the Rocket Racing League's development X-Racer, multiple static engine test firings live on the field, fly-overs by the T-38 astronaut trainer, and a variety of other rocket surprises in the air and on the ground."

SEDS activities
- Volunteer!
- or email Andy Dorsey at andy@xprize.org
- or call the office at 505-646-6732
- Ryan Kobrick suggests arranging a party on Friday night somewhere. Joshua Neubert recommends Farleys (Las Cruces one) - a restaurant/bar "really cool place".
- Farley's it is! 7PM Friday until whenever.
- We'll have free SEDS buttons, so people will be able to spot the other SEDS people. Come socialize, discuss the Cup, catch up with old friends and new.
- Farley's Pub is 13 miles from the airport, at 3499 Foothills Rd, Las Cruces, NM: http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=3499+Foothills+Rd,+Las+Cruces,+NM
- Directions from the airport: http://tinyurl.com/v92f7
- MITSET has a booth, and is sponsored by MITSEDS. SEDS members could hand out flyers from there, if not have an official SEDS representative present as a "sponsor".
- Joshua Nelson is printing off a large number of the SEDS fliers to bring with him and will randomly distribute them throughout the cup.
- Joshua also thinks we need a SEDS badge or pin for all the SEDS members/volunteers.
- Anyone know a cheap source for badges or pins?
Room sharing requested
