- Need for Thermal Contol System: Thermal Control Systems are used in cubesats. We are now trying to ascertain which type of thermal control system we might need and the pre-requisites to design them.
- Design Software: We are yet to identify a software that all team members can use for designing the structure. The limitations placed on us is that it should be freely available and that it should be good. We plan to consult a few engineers for their choice and opinion.
- Analysis Software: Although most paid designing software's of today come packed with an analysis algorithm, it might be a good idea to take a look at seperate analysis packages as well. This will ensure complete and rigorous testing.
- Method of testing - This involves how we test the structure - whether we use a prototype or we use another software.
- Design Testing - This may either be done using a software or by using a prototype. Depends on the decision made in step 4.
