Info: The summer school for students will be held for five weeks during May-June of every even-numbered year. It is designed to introduce students to the exciting fields of astronomy and astrophysics (A+A). May 12 - June 27. IUCAA: Vacation Students Programme

Info: IUCAA invites applications for the annual Vacation Students' Programme (VSP). Students selected under the VSP will spend seven weeks at IUCAA working on specific research projects under the supervision of IUCAA faculty. The programme will conclude with seminar presentations of the projects by the participants, a written test and interview. Those who perform well will be pre-selected to join IUCAA as research scholars to do a PhD after the completion of their degree.Last date for applications: March 10, 2008.

I hope to show how interesting the study of star dust can be by reviewing its generic properties and specifically addressing its formation in novae.
