History

UB-SEDS was founded in the Fall of 2006(?) with the goal of promoting Space Exploration and Development, as well as pursuing Space related activities that were being little used at the University at Buffalo. The club has enjoyed sucess over the past two years, having maintained a rocketry program at UB, as well as grown to include a propulsion development program, educational outreach, a NanoSat team, and a fledgling Astronomy program. We are recognized by the UB Student Association which provides funding and support services for our club.
