Here is the short letter and here is the longer one. The difference is that the longer one asks for donations of money and/or merchandise -- it is meant to be sent to large companies or groups that can afford that.
Of course, you can customize or personalize the letter as you see fit, especially if you are writing someone you know.
NOTES:
Inside each category, just list organizations/groups, contact names, and contact info. The EXTRA category is for any contact you want to make outside your other categories. You may overlap with other team members. That is fine as long as no one gets annoyed over being contacted twice.
In the Contact Log, be sure to log every contact you make and every response you get. Put dates on these so you can find the email again if you need to.
