Key Conference Events
The conference itself was held at the Pasadena Holiday Inn, now the Sheraton Pasadena Hotel. The main event was the Voyager 2 flyby of Neptune, with a live television feed set up for the SEDS conference in the 201 East Bridge lecture room on the Caltech campus.
Awesome Conference T-Shirt
The conference t-shirt depicts a student surfing by Neptune and Triton holding a camera forward and a high-gain antenna aft. Bumper stickers for Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus adorn the bottom of the surfboard. Presumably an RTG is hanging off of the structure attached to the back of the surfboard. Or maybe a magnetometer.
